My experience with Austen and Blake has been pleasant. Jewellery is reasonably priced and most pieces are customisable to your preference of size and quality. We visited in store and tried on a variety of rings and designed a wedding ring that would best suit my engagement ring. Designed and ordered in only has about a 3 week turn around! I also really appreciated that the customer service chat box online was a real person who called me to follow up on our chat within a very reasonable time frame :)

❗️UPDATE❗️As of a year later, Austen and Blake have still not reached out and 3 more diamonds have fallen out. Please note that the rings are not manufactured in Australia but rather are manufactured in India. Would never recommend. I recently purchased a silver ring from Austin and Blake Australia as a promise ring for my partner expecting a high-quality product and great customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I feel obligated to share this review so that others don’t face the same issues and waste their hard earnt money. Poor Product Quality The ring I purchased was a half eternity ring which included small diamonds set in silver. Despite the ring only being worn for 1 month and never worn during exercise, sleeping, showering, or under any circumstances where it may be physically damaged, I was shocked to find a diamond had already fallen out and several prongs loosened after such a short time. A design flaw like this should not happen with jewelry priced at it is. When I contacted the company to address this defect, I was told that "silver is too soft" for a ring with diamonds. This raises the question, why offer silver in the first place if it’s not suitable for such designs! Knowingly selling a product to a customer which isn't built to last or for its purpose is a poor attempt to leave a customer satisfied and reflects disregard for a positive client experience. Lack of Transparency & Accountability What upset me even more was managements response. They were quick to charge me to repair a ring that was clearly defective from the start (I was told in the ring consultation that it was a manufacturing defect). This repair fee included services like "tightening all the prongs" and a "clean and polish." A clean and polish after just one month of wear is unnecessary, and needing to tighten all the prongs after such a short time only highlights the subpar workmanship that went into making the ring. At no point was I informed during the purchasing process that silver would be prone to such quick wear and tear. If I had known that silver was too soft for a ring of this design, I never would have made the purchase. DO NOT MAKE THIS SAME ERROR! Terrible Customer Service When I raised my concerns with the company, their attitude was dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the poor product quality, they repeatedly blamed the material and, in essence, suggested I should have treated the ring better. I was even told silver for jewelry is only good for a "plain band ring at the least" so once again, dont provide silver for an expensive diamond ring. This is not what you expect when you invest in fine jewelry. For a company that claims to provide a "hands-on, caring, and individual" experience, I was met with a lack of empathy and a desire to obtain more money rather than solve the underlying problem. Even when they offered a $60 discount on the repair fee, it felt like a token gesture to avoid taking responsibility for selling a product that was fundamentally flawed. It was more about placating me than actually providing a solution that reflected any real sense of accountability. Keep in mind, I was warned that even if they were to fix the ring the same issue is likely to happen again! Warning to Others I would strongly advise anyone considering Austin and Blake to make a well informed decision. Selling expensive products not fit for use at a high cost is shocking. Additionally, the customer service I received was far from the "caring" approach they claim to offer. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes or offering a reasonable solution, they blamed the material and expected me to pay more to fix the initial error. If you're looking for quality and durability, or if you expect a company to stand behind their products, my experience showed this not to be the case. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to fix the ring, and I hope this review saves others from the same disappointment I faced.

What is your process for customising jewellery?
Book an appointment with our experts online or by calling us. Once you come to our location, our jewellery experts will work with you to understand your needs and provide you with a range of samples to choose from. Once you have made your selection, we will take care of the rest and have your piece ready for pick-up or delivery in no time.
What's your returns policy?
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer you a refund for most items within 30 days of delivery. All items must be unworn and pristine for a refund/exchange. Please email us to initiate the return process. Include your name and order number ONLY. Refrain from writing anything about the item being jewellery or similar. Your credit card will be credited within 8—10 days upon the receipt of the returned item(s), depending on the length of time taken to assess the returned item. You also have the option to schedule a pickup or drop-off upon scheduling through our store page. In addition, we offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Guarantee on all of our jewellery. If your piece ever needs repair, we will fix it free of charge. We want you to be able to wear your jewellery with confidence for a lifetime and beyond.
How long does it take to receive a custom piece?
Typically, it takes 3—4 working weeks for a bespoke piece to be created. However, during busy periods it may take a little longer. We recommend contacting us through email as early as possible to ensure you have your desired piece in time for that special occasion.
