My daughter and I are brand new at this formal dress shopping thing. She is very shy and anxious young girl and so I rang to find out the process of what we need to do to come look and try a formal dress. On the call I did tell the store that this is our first time shopping so really had no idea for what to look for or what to expect. We made a booking, arrived on time and stood awkwardly to the side, looking around. When the assistant came out she seemed a bit annoyed we were there (even though we had a booking) and told us we could look but if we wanted to try anything on, we would have to make another booking. After going to the trouble of booking getting her there- then to be told to book again….. Is this a regular practice?? To book for a time to look, just to book again if we want to try something on?? Regardless it left my daughter and I really disappointed and with my daughter feeling very embarrassed and upset. We will not be returning to this shop and REALLY hope that this is not the normal practice as I will never get her into a shop twice!

We recommend making a booking with an experienced design consultant for advice and trying on some style to fit best your shape. You can make a booking over the phone by calling (02) 8411 2724. We are only 1 minute from Hornsby train station alternatively there is plenty of free on-street and off street parking available.
