Beautiful hotel very close to the city center, directly opposite the botanical garden. Very clean, quiet, and large rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff and a clean pool with a view of the surrounding high-rise buildings. The breakfast could be a little more extensive and offer more options for vegetarians. And it would be nice if food was replenished more often, because a lot of it was already empty by 9 a.m. and was not refilled. But all in all, we had a very nice stay, which is why I can highly recommend the hotel.

Extremely comfortable bed and a great location. Room was also very clean and quiet. The hotel is basically unrenovated and quite tired. My TV’s back light was broken and the bathroom was ancient with a bad shower. The AC was also old fashioned and not very cold.

Stayed at the Royal on the Park for one night a Friday to see a concert room was nice n clean modern bathroom on the 6th floor nice views of the botanical gardens we got back to hotel at 10pm and we thought we could have a late night cocktail or drink in there restaurant bar area but was told no which is really a shame they don’t cater for late night drinks I was able to get some ice from room service n have a drink in the room I felt like would be good if you had a small window to just get some air you feel a bit like you need fresh air all n all clean place to stay old but I like the furnishings n decor if you want a place without a verandah or fresh air in rooms this is a place to stay close to the river stage for concerts easy 10min walk ..

Staying at Royal on the Park is honestly like stepping into a little slice of England right in the heart of Brisbane. The place has this classic British charm and old-world character that makes it feel warm, refined, and full of charisma the moment you walk in. The staff are incredibly polite—genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help without ever feeling over the top. It’s rare these days to find service that feels this personal and respectful. The food is another standout. Everything is high-quality, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Whether it’s breakfast, room service, or something from the restaurant, it’s consistently excellent. The environment overall is extremely pleasant—quiet, classy, and comfortable. It’s right in the middle of the city, yet it feels peaceful. Plus, you’re literally across the road from the Botanic Gardens, so you can wander over for a walk anytime. It’s also within easy reach of the river, shops, cafes, and all the CBD has to offer. I’d definitely recommend staying here. If you want a hotel with charm, comfort, great food, and outstanding service, Royal on the Park is absolutely worth it.

Is it true, your business is owned by the Investment arm of the Sultan of Brunei, Who has enacted laws to stone Gays to death ? Oh and apparently you are advertising that Elton John stayed at your residence.., Well not now, he is boycotting Brunei.
Yes it is, and I've emailed them a few times asking about this, and their stance as an Australian hotel. They've not had the courtesy to reply, so here goes one regular guest and family.
Does the breakfast have gluten free options

Who are the owners of the hotel? I read it was the Sultan of Brunei, who recently passed laws allowing the stoning to death of hay people.
The list of hotels he owns has been published publicy you can Google it. He owns mainly very luxurious or famous hotels so as nice as the royal is I would be surprised if it is owned by him.
