We had the best experience and walked away very happy. Alex and Jess were both great! They were both professional, personable, flexible and listened to what we were trying to achieve. We felt comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. They hit the brief. Highly recommend their service!
Thanks so much, Kylie. We loved having you and James in for your shoot!

I bought the $49 photo shoot with hair and makeup done package at the wedding show in Sydney last year. Thought it would be a lovely little treat for me, some last kinda glam photos before getting married. Turns out it was one of the worst decisions of my life! The amount of calls and emails leading up to attending was the first annoyance. Upon arriving, I had to sign a waiver in case the makeup caused an allergic reaction. I thought about bailing on the session at that point and so wish I had! Makeup was interesting to say the least, the real issue was with my hair. My hair is about 60cm long, all natural, no dye. I am very protective of it. Of course, the one time I let someone use a straightener to curl it, disaster happens. The second last bit, on the very top back of my head, was burned off about 10cm from the top of my head and I was left with an extremely damaged looking, burnt smelling reminder of this place. It has been a year and that chunk has finally grown to my chin. I reckon it'll take another 1.5yrs until it reaches my normal hair length. I didn't panic at the time and I didn't realize the severity of damage that had been done. I went along and had a somewhat awkward photo shoot where as much of my personal information was pried out of me as was possible by the photographer.. turns out that was so it could be used against me later in the day. When the shoot was done, I was asked when I'd like to come back to view the photos. Considering it's nearly a two hour journey for me to get there, coming back is not an option. So I go wait at the nearby shopping centre for an hour or so and come back to look at the pics. I haven't been to a studio for many years, but how I've always had it work, you narrow it down to what you like and take a few proofs home if you can't make up your mind straight away. Nope, what I walked into was at first a nice, narrowing down the pics experience that turned into high-pressure sales, having info I chatted about during the shoot brought up, being begged to purchase now and put a deposit down before I left that day. These photos are not cheap, I knew that before going in as the prices are listed on their website. However, none of the photos were overly amazing so I wasn't sure what to do, I needed more time to look at them. So being hesitant I said I had better check with my fiancé before spending so much money. I was met with a response about why I would have to ask him if it was my money?! Then I was told to call and ask him if I could use my money.. to which I said he's at work so no, he's busy, I won't be doing that. The photographer kept going in and out of the show room and coming in with a lower price option if I would just put a deposit down today. I finally got out of there and was left with such a sour taste in my mouth from the whole experience. Not to mention I contacted the owner about all this (he's the one who burnt my hair off) and heard no response and have had no apology about the whole thing. It took days to get the smell of burnt hair off me, and the makeup did in fact give me some issues with itchy and tender eyes for a few days. I'm just so disappointed as I looked this place up before I bought the experience and it had great reviews and photos. Guess I was just super unlucky. Editing to say, it has been nearly two years since my experience and I am so happy to see more reviews reflecting the actual service. It was 4.9 when I came for photos, and I didn't hesitate to give it a go. Because of that I still have probably another two years to go until my damaged hair has finally grown back. And to the person who said the makeup is crap, you are correct!
