Duo cake design is a family run business with husband-and-wife Daniel and Amy. Daniel is a qualified chef and Amy is the perfectionist whose passion is creating memorable works of art, specialising in wedding cakes. Duo cake design is a registered and council approved home based studio. Here at duo cake design we love the whole process from designing, baking, decorating and delivering the cake of your dreams. For most weddings the wedding cake is the last meal your guests enjoy at your wedding and so it is key that the cake leaves a good lasting impression. We use only the finest of ingredients, baking all our cakes and fillings from scratch and offer a selection of both mud cakes and sponge cakes to suit everyone's preference. Specialising in both buttercream and fondant cakes we love to create works of art from simple buttercream cakes adorned in fresh flowers to multi-tiered fondant cakes finished with one of a kind handmade sugar art. We work with you to design a cake that represents you as a couple and that complements your venue. Duo Cakes did a magnificent job creating our wedding cake! It looked absolutely stunning, exactly what we had envisioned and tasted even better. Every guest commented on how delicious it was. Duo Cake Design made our wedding cake in July. They were easy to communicate with, the booking process was simple and the cake was delicious and exactly what we wanted. We would definitely use Duo again in the future and will be recommending to friends and family.

We had Duo Cake Design make our wedding cake and also a surprise birthday cake after finding them on social media. Both cakes were absolutely amazing and our guests haven't stopped raving about them. We have decided from here on out we will only be using Duo Cake Designs when we need cakes or cupcakes, they are that good!

We found out about DuoCakeDesign from a wedding expo. We had several taste tests from other cake shops/ bakers but theirs was the best. They made our beautiful wedding cake and as much as it was pleasing to the eyes, it was the best-tasting cake as well! Even though our guests were already full, we had our wedding cake served for dessert and everyone finished their plates and were raving about how good the cake was. (We chose Lemon Sponge/ lemon buttercream & zesty lemon curd for our cake.) Highly recommend DuoCakeDesign for all your cake needs! Thank you Amy and Daniel!
