Le Petit Fromage

Bought snails today as a treat and the owner recommended a really yummy baguette ! Felt like we were in Paris!! A bit of fun for a Saturday night!!

I was given a voucher for my birthday last year and finally was in the area to use it. I made my selection, which was well over double the value of the voucher. When I was paying, the sales assistants could not get the voucher to work. It was unactivated, which is surprising considering it was purchased over 7 months prior. They called the owner, who said he and only he would need to view it and sort it out and to get my number so they could contact me when it's fixed. Over a week later, nothing. There are lots of great artisan shops in Sydney, visit one that values their customers and respects their time.

Beautiful authentic French cheeses and lovely service

Some lovely pieces in the store, but sadly the service missed the mark. We were greeted with a withering glare from the staff member behind the counter—clearly mid important phone call. It felt more like we were intruding than shopping. A bit too authentic a French experience, perhaps! Not giving a bad rating as maybe he was just having a bad day.
