I was more than impressed with the service provided by Gideon, he wasn't given too much guidance just an age group and a small list of song choices. He really made the event fun, got everyone up and involved. He made our night a great success and we look forward to using him again!!

Very good service. The DJ Gids played all the songs we asked for. Will always hire him. Thank you for making my party even more wonderful. Highly recommended!

We recently had Gideon DJ our house warming party. He was very professional, arrived on time and played our requested songs. He also provided over 40 glow sticks for the youngsters and us oldies. His DJ set up was modern looking and the disco lights polished the night off. We highly recommend DJ Gids for private functions.

My partner and I hired Gideon for our wedding in November (2025). We were excited to work with him seeing his reviews on google were 5 stars and people only had fantastic things to say about him and his events! After paying our deposit Gideon was right on top of it and started booking in our initial consultation. He was very organised and prompt. In total we had 2 consultations and email chains with Gideon. Our last meeting being 5 days before our event. We ran over all the details, songs needed to be played etc. The day of our wedding the weather didn’t go in our favour. All of our vendors were beautiful and made the day as smooth as possible and the only timeline that was affected for the DJ was when the cocktail hour started (the rest of the event went to the agreed upon schedule). The reason to our one star rating are as follows: - as we’re waiting to enter for the first time into our reception, Gideon approached me and my partner asking if we had a first dance and what the song was. We were both incredibly shocked as we had spoken to him about our first dance song multiple times for him to then tell us he doesn’t even have the song downloaded. - first father dance song: this song was played 1 minute over the amount of time needed which made what was once a “choreographed” dance, improvised, creating a stressful scenario for my partner. - after sitting down for the first time with my partner (10 minutes into us eating our dinner) Gideon stormed over being very rude asking when he would be getting his meal. We had repeated what we had discussed in our final meeting that he was getting a meal provided. - cultural music - in our consultations it was discussed that the music to start the dancing component of the night was to be Macedonian music with a drummer coming in to keep the beat. This in fact did not happen which meant another one of our vendors had to stand in the rain and both me and my partner had to stop what we were doing to sort out another mistake made by Gideon. - in our consultations with Gideon we only had 1 request and that was “no line dances”. People were allowed to ask for songs but line dances were not to be played. Unfortunately after all of the mistakes from Gideon on the night a line dance was played. I walked up to Gideon reminding him that we only had one request from him and that was no line dances. I walked back to my table, I sit down to see Gideon has left the DJ booth and followed me back to my table. Gideon starts yelling over the music trying to defend himself in quite a rude manner. I ask him to go back and DJ. On his way back to his DJ booth he stops to talk to my partner, who had no idea what was going on and was in the middle of dancing with her family. In this conversation he was completely rude and out of line. Using aggressive language and body language which was not warranted or appropriate. This interaction with Gideon took both me and my partner off guard. It was so completely inappropriate and unprofessional which left us feeling unsafe, uncomfortable and stressed. We later find out days after our wedding that he had approached the guest that asked for the line dance to be put on, also swearing at her and being aggressive towards a guest at our wedding. This resulted in that guest leaving the wedding early. Overall we are disappointed with Gideons behaviour. We are aware that we’re all humans and we make mistakes however being aggressive towards others, using and initiating abusive language and using aggressive body language is NOT on. Any one who has planned any form of an event would understand that it is stressful and that the vendors you hire are there to help the day run smoothly and as stress free as possible not add to it. Mistakes are okay but being rude and not decent to other humans is not. That is why Gideon is receiving a 1 star rating.

DJ Gidean is such an incredible person to meet he truly cares about what he does and would do anything he could to make your day special! We had the pleasure of Gidean being both our MC and DJ and made our wedding day a night to remember! Gidean follows up with you regularly gives you options and really loves to keep the party going!
