Murray Redpath Photography

Better late than never! We were so grateful to have Murray capture our perfect Pop-Up wedding at Boulevard Gardens. Although he only had a 2.5-hour timeframe, he captured everything we could have asked for and more! Murray went high and low (literally) to take photos from the best angles, and even the December humidity didn't stop him from giving it his all. From the beginning, Murray was easy to work with; he was even happy for me to write up a list of photos I wanted captured, he even let us (bride and groom) take pictures with his camera! We're very grateful that Murray was able to provide us with direction and support to make being in front of the camera a breeze.

It's been over two months since my wedding day, so this review is inexusably late. However, I find it imperative to share with the world - or at least the brides-to-be in the Brisbane area - how much better the experience of our wedding day was just by having Murray's fun and friendly presence with us, and how grateful we are for all the beauty, love and joy he captured in his photos of the day. Murray guided us as subjects, collaborated with our other vendors, and interacted with our guests with such energy and expertise, that everyone involved in our wedding told us afterwards how much they all loved him! From advising our guests to throw their confetti all at the same time, to encouraging our guests to break out of their shells on the dance floor, Murray not only brought life to our party, but caught it all on camera for us to treasure forever. Please do yourselves a favour and consider Murray for your wedding photographer - you won't regret it! Thanks again Murray for your beautiful work :)

I find this a very hard review to write, as it is hard to put into words what an amazing photographer and person Murray truly is. We spoke with Murray a sum total of twice before our wedding. Once when we met him at a wedding expo, and again approximately a month before our wedding to have a quick chat with him so he could gain a litle bit more insight into us and what we wanted on the day. Murray met me as I came downstairs for the ceremony and took a few quick snaps, was unintrusive through the wedding ceremony, joked with the family (of which I have a lot) through the family photos, and then we gave Murray free reign and went for a wander. We didn't have to venture more than 50m in any direction from our gorgeous venue (Stamford Plaza for those playing along at home) and Murray made it quite clear that he would watch the clock on our behalf, and that we were to simply just enjoy ourselves. We will definitely be using Murray again for future family photos, and maybe even some anniversary photos in years to come. Thanks so much Murray for putting the memories of our wedding day into pictures for us.
