You Studios Photography

My father-in-law won a voucher for a photoshoot, so we decided to do a family one. We got our hair and makeup done and arrived excited. We had to wait a bit, but it was fine because they were busy. The photoshoot was really quick. They just placed us in poses and took lots of photos. The stylist felt over the top and a bit fake. What bothered me most was that they rushed us and didn’t tell us if our eyes were closed, if our hair was in our face, or if our hands looked awkward. At other photoshoots I’ve been to, the photographer takes time to guide you and lets you see some photos as you go, so you can fix things. Here, we didn’t see anything until the final viewing 2 weeks later. When we finally saw the photos, they were below average. The editing was bad, my mother-in-law had her eyes closed in many of them, and some of us looked awkward because we weren’t given any direction or a chance to retake shots. There were a few okay ones we liked, until we heard the price - about $2,000 for the digital copies for only around 15-20 photos. Honestly, we could have taken better photos on our phones. We left without buying anything. It felt like a waste of time and kind of like a scam. You can find much better photographers on Airtasker. Don’t waste your money here.

We had a beautiful session with Rhiannon. Not only was she a great photographer, but also a genuine and kind person. We can't wait to come back for another session :)

The greatest moment of my life

Our experience with You Studios was fabulous. Sabrina was so patient and lovely with our two girls. Everyone was so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable which made our shoot. Our family will definitely be unsung You Studios on the futures

My husband and I had a photoshoot today with our 4 week old baby. The staff were lovely and especially Rhiannon was absolutely brilliant with our baby. He was a bit restless for majority of the session and she handled him beautifully, carefully and with the help of the photographer (apologies I have forgotten her name - she was lovely!) we ended up with some lovely shots & memories we will treasure. Thank you
