What a wonderful experience. Again. We returned to Mollydooker wines today. Not for the tasting this time. But to place another order of some of our favourites, then settled in for a grazing plate and a drop of their sensational sparkling Shiraz. What a view! Highly recommend a visit.

Strong recommendation: book a tasting with Lisa! Attentive, highly knowledgeable, and fun. Thought we’d be there an hour, stayed four. Beautiful platter. Came home with a box of wine.

Lisa was so informative, we learned so much about the growing process. Food amazing, some of the best wine we’ve tried! Excellent service made for an excellent day… thank you to the Mollydooker team 😁

Had a very disappointing experience at Mollydooker this weekend, courtesy of a rude and hostile member of staff there. We visited for a couple of wines in the afternoon to celebrate a friend getting married. Had called ahead to let them know we were coming and arrived on time. When we got there we sat at one of three large empty tables outside as planned. Within about 2 minutes of being seated, while we were deciding who was going to go in and order, a surly woman with a slight (German?) accent stomps over. Before we can even say hi, she says, "this isn't a public park you know, you need to order to be here". We were pretty taken aback but explained that we had called ahead and were about to come inside to order. We didn't have food or drinks or anything else with us to indicate that we were there to picnic and not order. None of us had been drinking prior and we weren't acting raucous. It was also dead quiet. We explained that the groom-to-be actually had a personal connection to the place and we were excited to be there. "Everyone knows someone though, don't they?", she says. "You need to order inside. This isn't a public park", she repeated. Her tone, attitude and body language was incredibly hostile throughout the conversation. We did go in and order a couple of bottles of wine for the table after this, but it was pretty hard to enjoy the experience. I think if we weren't so shocked we might have just left straight away. The outside area is nice enough and the wine was fine but not amazing. Neither is nearly good enough to make up for the way we were treated. It is a shame as we had expected a lot. I've been to many wineries over the years and this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had at one. Would strongly recommend those looking to visit our beautiful wineries in the region to go to any of the others where you will be treated with more respect.
Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I want to sincerely apologise for the experience you and your group had during your recent visit. Reading your review was extremely disappointing and upsetting, and I am truly sorry that this was your impression of Mollydooker. What you described falls well below the standard of warmth, professionalism and hospitality that we expect from our team, and I completely understand how the situation would have left you feeling unwelcome on what should have been a celebratory and enjoyable afternoon. I appreciate the detail you have provided, as it gives us the ability to properly look into what happened. We are currently reviewing this matter internally, and it is being taken very seriously. Your experience is absolutely not reflective of the atmosphere we want our guests to have, and I am committed to ensuring that situations like this do not happen again. I would truly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly and gain any further insight you may be comfortable sharing. If you are willing, could you please email me directly at annikaph@mollydookerwines.com.au It would mean a lot to be able to discuss this with you personally and see if there is anything we can do to make things right. Once again, I am incredibly sorry that your visit was overshadowed in this way, and I thank you for bringing it to our attention. Kindest regards, Annika Cellar Door Manager
