Rydges Pit Lane at The Bend

As a car and motorsport enthusiast, this hotel is amazing!

Have stayed here a lot throughout this year, most of the staff I’ve dealt with have been nice, or at least just did their job and put on a smile. The rooms are fine except for the plumbing noise. The restaurant is decent, and the staff I had serve me were great, they came up to us immediately as we sat down to let us order before a large table was about to incredible service. However today at 11:30, 30/11/2025 , I checked out and received the most unwelcoming human of a Karen at the desk, as I was checking out. I said hi as I was approaching the desk and smiled at her, the only energy she could muster was to reach for the cards and say yep as I was talking, enough to cut me off mid sentence, no thanks for staying or even a have a good day, like the other employee’s I’ve dealt with in the pass. Clearly not all staff and employees are trained well in customer service here, it only takes one to ruin the entire experience.

The worst experience. Would not recommend. Booked suite well in advance only to be told upon checking in at 9pm after the car race that there is an issue with the room as there is a bird nest in the roof and the room smells!!! They have tried covering the smell with air freshener which made the smell even worst. With small children forced to drive back home for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
