Spent a week here for a conference. This blows the Caribbean out of the water, in my opinion. Lovely location, easy access from Brisbane, kid friendly and excellent staff. Food is good and reasonable for simple meals, a little pricey at some of the sit down restaurants. My room was decent, not fancy but clean and comfortable. Beach is pristine, outside of the resort is also lovely. Hope to come back with my family some time.

Visited on the Carnival Adventure. The Island is a wow factor.

Tangalooma Island Resort
We are pleased to advise that following installation of a completely new water delivery system, water restrictions at the Resort are no longer active and we have received all the relevant governmental approvals for the water restriction to be lifted effective January 23. The health, comfort and safety of our guests, staff and residents of the island remain our top priority so rest assured the testing and approval processes undertaken have been completed and approved in collaboration with Brisbane City Council & Queensland Health. We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that the water is now safe for drinking, brushing teeth, preparing and cooking foods, washing raw foods such as fruit and vegetables, washing glassware/cutlery/crockery, preparing beverages and making ice, preparing baby formula and bathing infants and as such complimentary bottled water is no longer being provided.
