Wedding receptions in our Pacific Room have a maximum capacity of 140 guests seated and 180 cocktail style. Intimate Lunch Weddings in our Reef Room have a maximum capacity of 40 guests seated or 45 cocktail style.

Our Wedding Packages include a 6-hour reception duration, commencing with canapes & drinks served on our beachfront terrace. This is in addition to the hour allowed for your onsite wedding ceremony. All receptions must conclude by 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, 11:00pm Sundays and 10:00pm Mondays - Thursdays. Beverage service ceases 20 minutes prior to your reception conclusion. Our Intimate Lunch Wedding package includes a 4-Hour lunch reception duration. Intimate Lunch Weddings conclude at 3:00pm in Daylight Savings, or 2:00pm outside of Daylight Savings.

BOOKINGS AND BOND PAYMENTS

In order to book a wedding at Long Reef Golf Club, we require payment of the Venue Hire Fee and completion of a Venue Hire Form. Unfortunately due to the popularity of Long Reef Golf Club, we do not hold temporary bookings and your wedding booking is not complete until you receive confirmation from Long Reef Golf Club.

PAYMENT AND FINAL NUMBERS

For all weddings in the Pacific Room, a $5,000 Deposit is payable 6 months prior to your wedding date and will be applied as pre-payment to your final invoice. Final guest numbers are required 14 days before the date of your event, which will confirm the minimum number to be charged. After this date, small increases in guests may be accepted but not decreases. Final accounts are to be paid 7 days prior to the function date. Payments can be made by cash, credit card (Amex is not accepted), EFTPOS or Electronic Funds Transfer (bank transfer). Please note a 1% surchage applies when paying by credit card. For beverage tabs a bar account will be made up at the end of the reception and must be paid for in full at the conclsuions of your event. Credit card details need to be provided prior to your event to be able to open a bar tab.

Menus must be finalised no later than 14 days before the reception. No changes will be accepted after this date.

For wedding receptions held in the Pacific Room at Long Reef Golf Club, there is a minimum spend. Minimum spends are variable depending on the season and day of the week. Minimum spends include the Venue Hire Fee, your chosen reception package & upgrades including beverage package upgrades. Minimum spends exclude any ceremony fees and optional extras. For Intimate Lunch Weddings a minimum of 25 adult guests is required, and there is no additional minimum spend.

FURNITURE, DECOR AND STYLING

If you would like different furniture you are welcome to source this at an additional cost with prior approval from Long Reef Golf Club. All major furniture items, fixtures and fittings must remain as styled or positioned. If you require changes, this must be upon agreement with your wedding coordinator. Decorations and theming are the responsibility of the client. LRGC has established relationships with styling service companies, which we can refer you to. Nothing is to be nailed, glued or taped in any wall, door or other part of LRGC. Approval by LRGC is required before attaching things to our walls or hanging items to the ceiling. Any electrical lighting installation must be done by one of our recommended suppliers. All wedding cakes and floral arrangements must be delivered on the day of the event, we do not accept delivery of these items prior to your wedding day.
