Booked a superior deluxe villa for my husbands birthday with our son daughter in law and grandson. As check-in was 3pm I got there at 3 to decorate the villa for a surprise unfortunately I had to sit around for 50 minutes as the villa was not ready by this time my husband had arrived . The staff were helpful and put our food into their office to keep it cool . The staff were pleasant but so under staffed . Then the dishwasher wasn’t working so the maintenance man was sent out . Saturday night went for dinner but because we hadn’t booked and they were not doing walking ins due to have a wedding reception we had to eat in the bar this should have been communicated when we checked in . Once again because they didn’t have the staff . The spa though is amazing. The resort really needs more staff and the villas need a tidy up . Definitely not worth the money we paid and I definitely will not be going back . The husband can just go for the day to play golf

Stayed 1N so we could play the golf course. Great location. Slightly nervous after all the neg reviews but our Studio room was fine, just a bit worn. Big bed, lots of wardrobe space, room safe, iron, hairdryer, Nespresso, Kettle, Fridge. Tea, coffee & milk were a bonus. Had online work and reception gave us a Wi-Fi dongle which worked great.

Alex customer service was professional and polite. Everyone was friendly, the chefs food in Shallows was delicious. We had an amazing time and would return again
