I’m so happy we chose Riverside Oaks as our wedding venue. Brianna was absolutely amazing. She handled all the planning with such professionalism and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, and we can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the venue's stunning natural beauty took our breath away. The accommodation options were fantastic. Our guests were able to book at a discounted rate at the RSO onsite lodgings and we have heard from them first-hand what a fantastic and comfortable experience they had in their rooms as well as at the Brasserie for their meals, the resorts Bistro. It made the entire experience feel more like a weekend getaway than just a wedding. Speaking of food, the catering was outstanding. Every dish was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the canapes, entrees and main course. The chef and kitchen staff were flexible enough to prepare and serve food in a completely new way. Our vision was to have food served family or tapas style on shared platters which guests could pass around the table and add to their own plates exactly what they wanted to eat. We were able to workshop the entire menu from scratch together with the Chef, months in advance and the execution on the big night was flawless. Communication with the venue staff, especially the Wedding Coordinator Brianna, was seamless throughout the planning process. They were responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Any questions or requests we had were met with enthusiasm and professionalism regardless of the time of day we asked them, which made everything so much easier. The venue also offered a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, from hitting a golf ball out at the range to fun lawn games. This thoughtful touch helped create a festive atmosphere and ensured that everyone felt included and entertained. But perhaps the highlight of the experience was the staff. Every member was warm, friendly, and eager to help, which made the whole day feel special. Overall, we cannot recommend Riverside Oaks highly enough. Davinia and her team were absolutely amazing and professional and made us know from the moment we arrived that this was where we were going to get married - to the absolutely beautiful grounds, the breathtaking reception room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous course and providing views of wildlife and the lake, to the incredible food and service provided at the wedding to all of our guests, to the amazing lodge style accommodation and complimentary night provided for my new husband and I, to the level of personalisation and dedication to us both to make our day perfect, I could not recommend this venue highly enough! Cost indicative of ceremony, chairs, carpet, reception, food, awesome drinks package and more! We chose the 'Oaks Package' and received the best service we could have ever asked for.

We loved the beautiful iron gates that welcomed you to the venue it had a really luxurious and romantic feel. We also liked how they only hold one wedding at time which makes you feel special. This place is FANTASTIC. We had planned for the wedding to be out door but it poured down and they where great got everyone inside and the room set up perfectly and all within a few minutes. Very friendly staff they returned emails or phone calls within the day answered any questions. Beautiful Grounds and the room was stunning. Food was very good husband and I are both chefs and we loved it. Paul, Tim and Katie where great made sure everything was right and even packed away all the stuff and night ready for me to pick up in the morning. Accomodation was cheap and very nice security guard so great in dropping us to our room and taking us back so we could party on. Great venue would recomend to anyone

Riverside Oaks is a spectacular location and venue. They are surrounded by bushland and have resident kangaroos on site, as well as facilities for accommodation, breakfast, golf, ceremony options and reception. We had a 4pm ceremony which was beautiful, followed by a 6pm reception. Comments on food from our guests were that it was delicious. The staff on the night were very attentive to the bridal party and guests. In the lead up to the wedding their communication lacked considerably. Overall though the venue was great, everyone loved it and it provided the perfect setting for our wedding. I would recommend it and I can't wait to go to a wedding there as a guest.

Wonderful, Excellent, Fantastic.... I don't know if there is a word out there to describe the people & venue at Riverside Oaks! I was hesitant at first booking a venue approx 1 hour away but everything has been fantastic, it's definately a 'wow' venue, it was on the tv show 'four weddings' a few weeks before we got married but the footage didn't do the place justice! You really need to see this place in person to get the full understanding on how great it is, I first saw the reception room bare (not set up for a wedding) yet I knew it would be fantastic & my visions came true, the room & staff were awesome both leading up to & on the night, Can't thank Paul & Tim enough as they were great with answering any questions etc, I could rave on for ages about them, but all I can say is definately go & see them, it's worth the drive out there!

Must have beautiful natural gardens/scenery/landscape and an elegant indoor reception area. Preferable somewhere in Dandenong Ranges or Hepburn Springs, but open to other places in Victoria that fits the description.

Most venues wont allow you to suppl your own alcohol as most are licensed venues and legally have to be the supply of all alcohol. Smoke machines are also an issue when it comes to receptions as most have smoke alarms and these will set the alarm off.
